How to plan a month of Instagram content for a beauty business

Posting regularly is easier when you decide what to say before the month starts.

If you run a beauty business, it is easy to post only when you have a spare moment. A simple plan removes the guesswork. Here is how I would do it.

1. Choose three or four content themes

Pick themes you can come back to every week, for example:

2. Decide how often you can post

Three posts a week you can keep up beats daily posting you drop after ten days. Add stories on the days you are busy with clients.

3. Plot the month on a calendar

Write the dates down, then slot in your themes. Mark key dates that suit your business, such as seasonal events, holidays and quiet periods you want to fill.

4. Batch your content

Set aside a couple of hours to write captions and take photos for the next week or two. Batching saves time and keeps your feed looking consistent.

5. Use templates

Matching templates for offers, tips and quotes keep your grid looking tidy and mean you are not designing from scratch each time. You can find ready-made ones in the social media design section.

6. Review at the end of the month

Look at which posts got saves, shares and enquiries, and do more of those next month.

Want it to look good too?

Social media templates make it much quicker to post consistently.
